Valvehead Comparison – T handle, Tamper Resistant, Lockable
The PRECISION Instrument Manifolds and valves are available in several different styles, the most common are listed below along with illustrations. See model code for the specific style of valve/manifold for how to specify the various valveheads in the part code.
T handle
This is the ‘standard’ handle and allows easy operation of the valve by anyone.
Tamper Resistant handle
This features a removable ‘Key’ handle, once the key is removed, operation of the valve is not possible without the key short of destroying the valvehead.
Lockable Handle
This combines the T handle with an option to lock. Pulling up on the T handle exposes an opening for a lock. Once locked, the valve cannot be operated without removing the lock.
